There was a loving, comfortable warmth among the family and friends at this wedding. It was like everyone was family. The beautiful ceremony took place in the Heritage Chapel at First Baptist Church Dallas. Meghan coordinates the weddings at FBD and you will love her! She truly enjoys each wedding and wants to make sure your ceremony is perfect. (You’ll also love the spacious bride’s room there, and easy parking). As a surprise for the bride, there was a 57 Chevy convertible waiting to take the couple to the reception at the Belo Mansion. The room was lit in a beautiful red color, and the black/white and red theme carried over with the linens and decor, including the amazing cakes by Frosted Art (the groom’s cake looked like Germany, where the bride/groom are living currently). Inside Out rocked the reception, and I mean everyone was dancing (from 8 to 80+)! I heard it was the folks from Arkansas that brought the party! BluDoor Studios had a photo lounge there, so everyone could have a fun picture to take home. At the end of the evening, there was milk and cookies!
Marla chose Micki Novak of Dream Weddings to plan HER dream wedding, and we heard so many guests afterward say it was so much FUN, and SO perfect. Priceless memories to enjoy for years to come!

If you’re looking for a fun, unique venue for a rehearsal dinner, you should consider the Fort Worth Zoo! Your guests will enjoy the “Portraits of the Wild” Art Gallery, which includes an outdoor deck overlooking the African Savannah exhibit. You have the option of adding the “Wild Wonders” outreach program to your event, which is both entertaining and educational.
At this rehearsal dinner for Ryan and Abby, I loved how the children (and adults!) were mesmerized by the animals. The food was superb as well! When you add in the heartfelt toasts and the photomontage video shown after dinner… it was a perfect night! You can contact the event coordinator at the FW Zoo, Sally Conradt-Hammond, at 817-759-7326 to plan your own night of unforgettable memories! Here’s a sneak peek:

A lovely wedding at Perkins Chapel at SMU. The colors Katie chose were a beautiful complement to the day (and to the groom’s Louisiana heritage)! Arlington Hall at Lee Park was the perfect choice for the reception, with its beautiful chandeliers and hardwood floors, open terraces and picturesque setting. We loved the cakes, the colors, the family photos at the reception, and the true Southern charm of the families.

Ruby, Tyler, and their families were so gracious and kind. We enjoyed spending the day with them, and having the privilege of creating their wedding movie! The wedding took place at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in downtown Dallas, followed by an elegant reception at the Crescent Hotel. Ruby and Tyler made their first dance (and several others) look like art in motion! We loved the little angel wings on the flower girls, and the Filipino dances at the reception. We especially loved how the beautiful bride looked in her dress, as it flowed with every move. The groom’s cake was based on a poker theme (Fancy Cakes by Lauren) . The guest favors also played on that theme with personalized playing cards and cookies. A perfect day, with many thanks to Abbie and Mary at todd. event design. creative services.

During the ceremony, Michael whispered to his bride that the day couldn’t have been more perfect. It truly was! Brittany and Michael chose a beautiful outdoor wedding at Marie Gabrielle, surrounded by many devoted friends and family. They each waited for the one they felt God had chosen for them, and held close the values they grew up with, and the friends they made. It was worth the wait! Brittany and Michael are so easy to love, so full of life and fun! Beautiful and yet down-to-earth, sensitive and giving.
We loved the colors of teal and chocolate, and the guests loved the candy ‘bar’ waiting for them at the end of the night! We also loved the Cowboys stadium groom cake, the vibrant bridal portrait by Jenny Martell Photography, and sparklers at the exit.

We begin at Abby’s home where everyone was busy getting ready and Abby could be heard singing a song about bells ringing on her wedding day… and outside, they were! Abby and Ryan have a solid foundation in their families and faith, and an uplifting glow that comes from that love and devotion. We so enjoyed getting to know these families!
It was a glorious day for their wedding at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church (officiated by the fathers of the bride and groom). The reception at the Ashton Depot was BEAUTIFUL and fun! Ice House had everyone on the dance floor, and the photo booth (boothBOOTH) was a big hit with the guests. Darren Moll and his team at the Ashton served up an exquisite meal and an unforgettable night, complete with fireworks at the finish. This elegant highlight video reflects their love of tradition, family, and their Christian faith.

The Old River Ranch was an amazing setting for the wedding of Julia and Thomas. Every scene reminded me of a postcard! I was inspired by these families and their love for each other, and for Christ. Mary Wright Shah and her impeccable team at Diamond Affairs created an unforgettable day, filled with beauty and fun. Emerald City Band rocked the reception, and guests loved getting their pics at the photo booth (one set to take home, and one for the wedding book). Although the outdoor wedding had to move indoors, nothing could dampen the love on this day!

The first dance together is special, but even more poignant for Julia and Thomas. Julia’s father passed away in 2007. He lived a life inspired by his Christian faith, and was fervently committed to his family and friends. Julia and Thomas danced to a recording her father made, singing to George Strait’s “Rockin’ in the Arms of Your Memory”.
