Sparkle, elegance, LOVE, and beauty… Dan and Jessica’s wedding was all of that!   Everything took place at City Club of Fort Worth, where Amy Shackelford creates the wedding (and reception) you dream of!  Sandy created the elegant (yummy!) wedding cakes.  You can reach her at:  unqsc@aol.com.  Special thanks to the wonderful ladies at Contemporary Portraits for sharing their beautiful images.  The highlights include special messages of love, intertwined with romantic images of the day.  It’s all about the love!

Such grace and beauty in this wedding and reception!  We loved the winter details and amazing floral.  The Ritz-Carlton was absolutely elegant, and Natalie was a Princess Bride!  Their exit was the perfect finish, in a rush of snowflakes!

Melissa and Drew

Posted by admin on 11 October 2009

Melissa’s uncle officiated her wedding, and he joked at the rehearsal that the weather was so perfect, they should just go ahead and say their vows.  The next day, as the clouds gave way to showers, everyone took the Marine approach and within minutes the wedding was accomplished in the beautiful reception tent.  What really mattered was that Drew was home safely from Iraq, and the wedding he and Melissa longed for finally came true!   It was a real celebration for everyone at Wildwood Ranch, with lots of dancing late into the night.  Their Highlights song, “Lucky”, is a true reflection of their feelings.

    Angel and Roman

Posted by admin on 25 September 2009

Angel and Roman met as children, and 25 years later their friendship and love led to marriage. It was a beautiful ceremony at the historic Oak Lawn United Methodist Church, followed by the reception at the newly renovated Sheraton Dallas, in the arts and financial district. The Sheraton offers amazing views of downtown Dallas and modern decor. This was truly a day of fulfillment and love! Congratulations Angel and Roman!

    Sarah and Mike

We could tell at the rehearsal dinner, this couple and their families were going to have a FUN wedding day!  Not only are Sarah and Mike accomplished athletes, they are totally unpretentious, best friends, respectful and loving to their parents, and adorable on top of everything else!  Beautiful ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, followed by an amazing reception at the Westin Stonebriar in Frisco.  Inside Out was smokin’ hot, and kept the dance floor packed!  The energy in the room was incredible. These highlights were edited to their first dance song. Get ready for beautiful fun!

    Ali and Steve

Posted by admin on 31 July 2009

Steve’s mom introduced him to the girl next door, Ali, and their beautiful story began.  As I got to know this couple, it was easy to see how much love they had for each other.   After the ceremony at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, everyone gathered at the Addison Convention Center for a lovely reception.  The Flavours rocked the room, and Steve’s best man played drums for him during the couple’s first dance.   There were so many ways that family and friends took part in the wedding celebration, and video captured all those moments.  Beautiful images, feelings and words to enjoy for years to come.  Enjoy!

There was a loving, comfortable warmth among the family and friends at this wedding.  It was like everyone was family.  The beautiful ceremony took place in the Heritage Chapel at First Baptist Church Dallas.  Meghan coordinates the weddings at FBD and you will love her!  She truly enjoys each wedding and wants to make sure your ceremony is perfect.  (You’ll also love the spacious bride’s room there, and easy parking).   As a surprise for the bride, there was a 57 Chevy convertible waiting to take the couple to the reception at the Belo Mansion.  The room was lit in a beautiful red color, and the black/white and red theme carried over with the linens and decor, including the amazing cakes by Frosted Art (the groom’s cake looked like Germany, where the bride/groom are living currently).  Inside Out rocked the reception, and I mean everyone was dancing (from 8 to 80+)!  I heard it was the folks from Arkansas that brought the party! BluDoor Studios had a photo lounge there, so everyone could have a fun picture to take home.  At the end of the evening, there was milk and cookies!

Marla chose Micki Novak of Dream Weddings to plan HER dream wedding, and we heard so many guests afterward say it was so much FUN, and SO  perfect.  Priceless memories to enjoy for years to come!

A lovely wedding at Perkins Chapel at SMU.  The colors Katie chose were a beautiful complement to the day (and to the groom’s Louisiana heritage)!  Arlington Hall at Lee Park was the perfect choice for the reception, with its beautiful chandeliers and hardwood floors, open terraces and picturesque setting.  We loved the cakes, the colors, the family photos at the reception, and the true Southern charm of the families.

    Ruby and Tyler

Posted by admin on 29 May 2009

Ruby, Tyler, and their families were so gracious and kind.  We enjoyed spending the day with them, and having the privilege of creating their wedding movie!  The wedding took place at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in downtown Dallas, followed by an elegant reception at the Crescent Hotel.  Ruby and Tyler made their first dance (and several others) look like art in motion!  We loved the little angel wings on the flower girls, and the Filipino dances at the reception.  We especially loved how the beautiful bride looked in her dress, as it flowed with every move.  The groom’s cake was based on a poker theme (Fancy Cakes by Lauren) .  The guest favors also played on that theme with personalized playing cards and cookies.  A perfect day, with many thanks to Abbie and Mary at todd. event design. creative services.

    Brittany and Michael

Posted by admin on 20 April 2009

During the ceremony, Michael whispered to his bride that the day couldn’t have been more perfect.  It truly was!  Brittany and Michael chose a beautiful outdoor wedding at Marie Gabrielle, surrounded by many devoted friends and family.   They each waited for the one they felt God had chosen for them, and held close the values they grew up with, and the friends they made.  It was worth the wait!  Brittany and Michael are so easy to love, so full of life and fun!  Beautiful and yet down-to-earth, sensitive and giving.

We loved the colors of teal and chocolate, and the guests loved the candy ‘bar’ waiting for them at the end of the night!  We also loved the Cowboys stadium groom cake, the vibrant bridal portrait by Jenny Martell Photography, and sparklers at the exit.
